On July 12, 2014, Marine Band Director Col. Michael J. Colburn will pass the John Philip Sousa Baton and command of "The President's Own" to Lt. Col. Jason K. Fettig in a Change of Command Ceremony and Concert. Col. Colburn has been a member of the Marine Band since 1987 and has served as director for the past 10 years. - On July 12, 2014, Marine Band Director Col. Michael J.
