Feb. 20, 2014 -- “The President’s Own” is pleased to announce that the following six high school students will participate at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22, in the final round of the Marine Band’s Concerto Competition:

Trombonist Isaac Johnson from Pine Island, Minn.
Euphonium player Joe Broom from McLean, Va.
Bassoonist Alfred Yi from Woodway, Wash.
Alto saxophonist Chad Lilley from Olney, Md.
Flutist Paulina Tsao from Ann Arbor, Mich.
French horn player Mark James Trotter from Seminole, Fla.

The recital will take place at the John Philip Sousa Band Hall at 7th and K Streets in southeast Washington,
D.C. Tickets are not required. The concert is free and light refreshments will be served. Free parking is available
under the overpass on 7th Street.
