The Drum Major of the Marine Band salutes at the funeral ceremony for former Marine Band Oboist Jim Dickey in Arlington National Cemetery. On Nov. 22, 2022, the United States Marine Band said a final farewell to one of its own in a funeral ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. Oboist James "Jim" Dickey served in "The President's Own" from 1977 to 2005. He was a frequently featured soloist and served as a tour coordinator with the band.
