The Marine Chamber Orchestra performed a unique concert featuring only the collaboration of the string players and no conductor on July 29, 2017 at Northern Virginia Community College's Schlesinger Concert Hall in Alexandria, Va. The performance included Johannes Brahms' Liebeslieder Waltzes, arranged by Friedrich Hermann, Joseph Haydn's Concerto No. 2 in D for Cello and Orchestra, Opus 101; and Arnold Schoenberg's Verklärte Nacht, Opus 4.
