U.S. Marines with Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., execute a Pass in Review during an evening parade, July 31, 2015. U.S. Army Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, was the guest of honor for the parade at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., and Gen. Joseph F. Dunford Jr., 36th commandant of the Marine Corps, was the hosting official for that same parade. The Evening Parade began in 1934 and features the Silent Drill Platoon, the U.S. Marine Band, the U.S. Marine Corps Drum and Bugle Corps, and two marching companies.
