CHAMBER MUSIC SERIESSunday, May 31 at 2 p.m. (EDT) - Coordinated by clarinetist Staff Sgt. Andrew Dees, the program will include various ensembles from brass quintet and horn quartet to duos and trios performing music by Franz Schubert, Paul Hindemith, and the world première of Pages from an American Cookbook by Andrew Horwitz. The concert will stream live at www.marineband.marines.mil.YOUNG CONDUCTOR & COMPOSER MENTOR PROJECT CONCERTTuesday, June 16 at 7 p.m. (EDT) - The Marine Band will serve as the ensemble-in-residence for the National Band Association’s 2015 Young Composer & Conductor Mentor Project. The project allows young artists, ages 29 and under, to work with renowned mentors in their field free of charge and to collaborate with a world-class musical ensemble.
