In six weeks during the fall of 2020, musicians of “The President’s Own” held more than 1,000 Q&As, clinics and masterclasses, reaching over 28,000 music students from kindergarten through the university level. Marine Chamber Orchestra Concert: Jan. 19, 2020 - 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 19 - The Marine Chamber Orchestra will perform the concert titled “The Seasons,” featuring works by Sergei Prokofiev, Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and William Alwyn. Conducted by Assistant Director Capt. Bryan P. Sherlock, the concert will take place at Northern Virginia Community College’s Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center in Alexandra, Va. The performance is free and open to the public; no tickets are required.
