On Friday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m., the Marine Chamber Orchestra will perform at the Washington National Cathedral to pay tribute to the members of the armed forces and their families. The 75-minute concert will include John Williams' Liberty Fanfare, Aaron Copland's Letter from Home, and the traditional hymn "Amazing Grace." The program will also feature the Washington National Cathedral Choir singing John Williams' Hymn to the Fallen from Saving Private Ryan, "My Country 'Tis of Thee," "Battle Hymn of the Republic," and John Rutter's setting of Psalm 23.

Letters service members sent from war will be read throughout the program, curated by Andrew Carroll of the Center for American War Letters at Chapman University. The concert is free and open to the public; no tickets are required. Visit cathedral.org.
