In honor of Veterans Day, “The President’s Own” Marine Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Col. Jason K. Fettig, will perform during the National Veterans Day Tribute Concert hosted by the Washington National Cathedral at 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 10.

Joining the orchestra for the performance are the Washington National Cathedral Singers. Together, through music, images, and the written word, the performance will celebrate the resilience of America’s military families and the indomitable spirit of the nation’s veterans. The event is free and open to the public. Preferred seating for veterans and active duty military personnel and their guests will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The orchestra will perform a variety of songs, including “Amazing Grace,” “My Country ‘Tis of Thee,” “American Anthem,” “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” and more. More information

The Marine Chamber Orchestra will also provide music for the Marine Corps Worship service held at 3 p.m. at the Cathedral. This service celebrates the Corps’ 244th birthday and offers the chance to pause in prayer and pay tribute to Marines who have given the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

The Washington National Cathedral is located at 3101 Wisconsin Ave. NW in Washington, D.C. Free parking is available in the underground garage, and the Cathedral is also Metro accessible.
