Stage Crewman Lance Corporal Grant Gicale of Evansville, Indiana joined “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band in November 2025.
Gicale graduated from Reitz Memorial High School in Evansville, Indiana, in May 2024. In February 2025, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina, graduating that May. Gicale then completed infantry training at Camp Geiger in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Marine Security Guard School in Quantico, Virginia.
As a stage crewman, Gicale is responsible for setting up Marine Band and Marine Chamber Orchestra concerts and rehearsals in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area and across the country during the band’s annual concert tour.
