Stage Crewman Lance Corporal Neil Meza Di Barrera of Pacoima, Calif., joined “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band in June 2024.
After graduating from Monroe High School in 2023, Lance Cpl. Meza Di Barrera enlisted in the Marine Corps later that year and attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. Lance Cpl. Meza Di Barrera then completed Infantry Training at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, Calif.
As a stage crewman, Lance Cpl. Meza Di Barrera is responsible for setting up Marine Band and Marine Chamber Orchestra concerts and rehearsals in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area and across the country during the band’s annual concert tour.
