Cpl. Teiarra Richardson

Stage Crewman Corporal Teiarra Richardson of Savannah, Ga., joined “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band in September 2023.

Cpl. Richardson attended Jenkins High School and graduated in 2019. Cpl. Richardson enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2021 and attended recruit training at Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot. After completion of training at Personnel Administrative School at Camp Johnson in Jacksonville, N.C., Cpl. Richardson was stationed at Quantico, Va. before receiving orders to Marine Barracks Washington, D.C. for assignment with “The President’s Own.”

As a stage crewman, Cpl. Richardson is responsible for setting up Marine Band and Marine Chamber Orchestra concerts and rehearsals in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area and across the country during the band’s annual concert tour.
