Lance Cpl. Nyheem Harrison

Stage Crewman Lance Corporal Nyheem Harrison of Florence, S.C., joined “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band in September 2023.

Lance Cpl. Harrison attended Wilson High School and graduated in 2021. Lance Cpl. Harrison enlisted in the Marine Corps. in August of 2021 and attended recruit training at Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot. After completion of training at Personnel Administrative School at Camp Johnson in Jacksonville, N.C., Lance Cpl. Harrison was stationed at Quantico, Va. before receiving orders to Marine Barracks Washington, D.C. for assignment with “The President’s Own.”

As a stage crewman, Lance Cpl. Harrison is responsible for setting up Marine Band and Marine Chamber Orchestra concerts and rehearsals in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area and across the country during the band’s annual concert tour.
