Lance Cpl. Jacob Harpe

Supply Clerk Lance Corporal Jacob Harpe of Georgetown, Ind., joined “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band in January 2024.

Lance Cpl. Harpe graduated from Floyd Central High School in 2022 and enlisted in the Marine Corps in April 2023. He attended recruit training at Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot and continued his training at the Ground Supply School at Camp Johnson, N.C. He was previously stationed at Henderson Hall before receiving orders to Marine Barracks Washington, D.C. for assignment with “The President’s Own.”

As a supply clerk, Lance Cpl. Harpe assists in general supply operations, which includes warehousing, packaging, and purchasing for the Marine Band.
