Stage Crewman Lance Corporal Kelley Miller of Lewisville, Tx., joined “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band in August 2023.

After graduating from Lewisville High School in 2019, Lance Cpl Miller enlisted in the Marine Corps in December of that year and attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. After completion of training at Personnel Administrative School at Camp Johnson in Jacksonville, N.C., he was stationed at Quantico, Va. before receiving orders to Marine Barracks Washington, D.C. for assignment with “The President’s Own.”

As a stage crewman, Lance Cpl Miller is responsible for setting up Marine Band and Marine Chamber Orchestra concerts and rehearsals in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area and across the country during the band’s annual concert tour.
