The Administration Office is responsible for the processing of all orders, enlistments and reenlistments, retirements, maintaining service record books, and auditing all pay-related matters.
Master Sergeant Crystal Holmes
Administrative Chief Master Sergeant Crystal Holmes was assigned to “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band in January 2011. She officially changed her Military Occupational Specialty from 0111 (Administrative Specialist) to 5511 (Member, U.S. Marine Band) in January 2014. After graduating from Samuel J. Tilden High School in Brooklyn in 1995, she enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1997, and attended recruit training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island in Beaufort, S.C. Following recruit training, she attended Marine Combat Training in Camp Geiger, N.C., and Personnel Administration School at Camp Lejeune, N.C. Upon completion of these courses, her first assignment was at Henderson Hall Consolidated Administration Office in Arlington, Va. Following her Henderson Hall tour, she was stationed with the III MEF 7th Communication Battalion in Okinawa, Japan, in 2000, then with the Public Affairs Office and Plans, Policies, and Operations at the Pentagon from 2001 to 2004. She also spent one three-year tour at the Aberdeen Proving Ground Marine Corps Detachment in Maryland. Master Sgt. Holmes returned to Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island in 2007 where she served as a Drill Instructor for 4th Battalion. She then reported to the Marine Barracks Adjutant’s Office in Washington in June 2010 and finally to “The President’s Own.” Master Sgt. Holmes earned her associate’s degree from Northern Virginia Community College in 2002, and in 2012 she completed her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Park University, in Parkville, Mo.
Corporal Zane Hall
Administrative Clerk Corporal Zane Hall was assigned to “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band in September 2018. Cpl. Hall graduated from Republic High School in 2017 and enlisted in the Marine Corps where he attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. Following recruit training, he attended Personnel Administration School at Camp Johnson, Camp Lejeune, N.C., before receiving orders to Marine Barracks Washington D.C. with “The President’s Own.”
Lance Corporal Rebekah Tongson
Administrative Clerk Lance Corporal Rebekah Tongson was assigned to "The President's Own" United States Marine Band in December 2018. Lance Cpl. Tongson graduated from Columbine High School in 2018 and enlisted in the Marine Corps where she attended recruit training at Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Beaufort, S.C. Following recruit training, she attended Personnel Administration School at Camp Lejeune, N.C., before receiving orders to Marine Barracks Washington D.C. with "The President's Own."
