While some of the great 20th century composers made their living solely on the music they wrote, a select few also dedicated a significant portion of their lives to teaching. Chief among the list of renowned composers who left an indelible mark on generations of students are Paul Hindemith, Zoltan Kodaly, and Carl Orff.
