On July 20, 2019, the Marine Chamber Orchestra provided concertgoers with much-needed relief from a heat wave hitting the region. Inside the cool Schlesinger concert hall, the ensemble performed Franz Schubert's Overture in C minor, D. 8; Ludwig van Beethoven's String Quartet No. 14 in C-sharp minor, Opus 131; and featured Staff Sgt. Trevor Mowry as an oboe soloist on Eric Ewazen's "Down a River of Time."
