Washington -- The Marine Band will perform from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the White House’s annual Fall Garden Tour this Saturday, Oct. 8. During the tour, visitors can see the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, the Rose Garden, the Kitchen Garden, and the South Lawn of the White House while being serenaded by “The President’s Own.”
The Fall Garden Tour runs from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EDT, Saturday, Oct. 8 and from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. EDT, Sunday, Oct. 9. The tours are free and open to the public; however, tickets are required (including for small children) and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis by the National Park Service at the Ellipse Visitor Pavilion located at 15th and E Streets Northwest on tour days beginning at 8:30 a.m. Call the 24-hour information line at (202) 456-7041 in case of inclement weather.
