Cpl. Jerry Herrera

Supply Clerk Corporal Jerry Herrera of Santa Ana, Calif., joined “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band in September 2021.

In 2012 Cpl. Herrera graduated from Lorin Griset Academy, and in February 2021 he enlisted in the Marine Corps. He attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego and continued his training at the Ground Supply School at Camp Johnson, N.C. His first assignment is with “The President’s Own.”

As a supply clerk, Cpl. Herrera assists in general supply operations, which includes warehousing, packaging, and purchasing for the Marine Band.
